Another partnership[edit]

He was part of the firm Wright Porteous & Lowe in the late 50s and early 60s. That was formed in 1961, and his son, William Caleb Wright, was a partner. His last job, in his early 80s, was chief building inspector for the city of Indianapolis. --Snow (talk) 17:43, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wright Porteous & Lowe designs include the Indianapolis Children's Museum Childrens Museum, Keystone at the Crossing the Indianapolis City–County Building, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. I am not remembering who the lead was on these buildings - Geoarge Caleb Wright was, I believe, the lead on the City-County Building, but I think William Caleb Wright was lead on the two museums, whereas Al Porteous may have led on Keystone at the Crossing.

Drawings from the firm are archived at Ball State University.
